Camilo Condis is a management and operations professional with more than a decade of experience leading cross-functional teams, coordinating complex projects, and driving organizational growth across engineering, nonprofit, and media sectors.
Trained as an Industrial Engineer and holding an MBA, he brings a strong foundation in operational strategy, process improvement, and organizational leadership, along with broad experience managing initiatives in dynamic, resource-constrained environments.
Throughout his career, Mr. Condis has combined strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leading projects that required adaptability, sound judgment, and effective communication. His experience includes operations management, project coordination, business development, stakeholder engagement, public relations, and team leadership, with a proven ability to deliver results in mission-driven, fast-paced settings.
As co-founder of Lucendi LLC, an engineering company in Cuba, Mr. Condis played a key leadership role in the company’s growth and operations. He helped manage major restoration and infrastructure projects, including Cuba’s National Capitol, the historic Martí Theater, and Havana’s Central Park. In this role, he contributed to strategic planning, operational efficiency, client relations, and the integration of renewable energy technologies into complex public works.
In the nonprofit and civic sectors, Mr. Condis has led communications, partnerships, and program coordination efforts for organizations including Artecorte, Cuba 8, La Liga en Cuba, and Cuba Emprende. His work included managing public relations, coordinating educational and entrepreneurship initiatives, and supporting programs designed to expand opportunity and strengthen community engagement. Across these roles, he developed a strong track record of managing stakeholders, aligning teams around shared objectives, and delivering meaningful social impact.
In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Condis has been recognized internationally for his leadership and contributions. He is an alumnus of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), Class of 2020, and has participated in events hosted by the CEO Summit of the Americas 2022, the Association for the Study of the Cuban Economy (ASCE), and the Latin American Studies Association (LASA). These experiences have further strengthened his global perspective and his ability to work effectively across sectors and cultures.
